It is not enough to perform correctly the maintenance tasks, you must perform correctly the right maintenance tasks.

A successful and lasting maintenance program, can only be developed by the maintenance and operation team, minimally, working together.

Maintenance affects all aspects of business: safety , environmental integrity , energy efficiency and product quality , not only plant availability and costs.

Businesses are learning that the cost of managing physical assets responsibly are only a small fraction of the cost of not managing them.

...in equipment and processes, manage the risks associated with faults keeping them at acceptable levels and still be competitive and sustainable?

...at the right time, and they alone, avoiding the waste of resources. This is the only way for any company that wants to remain competitive in today's world.

...expected along with your company! SQL is specialized in these areas, using proven methodologies such as RCM, and is ready to help you face these challenges.

RCM - Reliability Centered Maintenance is a methodology developed specifically for management of physical assets. Its strong point is to define the actions necessary to maintain maximum operational reliability by eliminating unnecessary and costly tasks, thereby reducing the costs involved with regular proactive maintenance. It primarily prioritize the aspects related to safety and the environment, highlighting the protective devices.
SQL bases its designs faithfully in the work of John Moubray and the Standards SAE-JA1011 and JA1012-SAE, duly adapted to the Brazilian reality, where SQL has been pioneered.
Through Training, Consulting and Software specialized in SQL Brazil has advised major companies over the last 15 years.

SAE JA1011/12

The scope and reach of SAE JA1011 / 12 ("A Guide to the Reliability-Centered Maintenance - RCM - Standard") amplifies and clarifies each of the key points of the methodology, and summarizes additional issues that must be considered when applying RCM successfully.

The Risk Management is not yet understood by managers as one of the decisive factors for achieving its strategic objective processes.
If we can make a risk management systematically, then we have a powerful tool to control the potential losses, and we may know them and measure them properly acting proactively to minimize them.

ISO 31000

Launched in 2009, the first version of ISO 31000, unlike the other ISO standards already known, it is not for certification. Emphasizes that risk management should be absorbed by the organization's business philosophy, and can be applied in all strategic and operational levels in order to add value to their internal processes and practices, together with the existing standards.

The ISO 55000, or the Modern Asset Management, is a standard developed to detail the best practices for asset management, from lifecycle strategy to the daily maintenance (cost / risk / performance). Aim to maximize results through the best strategies.
From research and studies, SQL Brazil found a wide range of concept similarities between the standard and the RCM, choosing to support its development in Brazil, and from there launched its book "The RCM in the Fourth Generation of Maintenance - The Modern Asset Management ".
The book presents the similarities and accredits the RCM methodology as the main supportive of the new concepts presented

A study of RCM typically lists a number of possible human errors either in maintenance or operation, which can result in loss of important functions in the production process as a whole.
These failures are not necessarily related to unpreparedness, disability or lack of commitment, but may be related to unfavorable ergonomic, sensory, physiological or psychological conditions.
In this line, SQL Brazil has prepared exclusive training for teams of managers and practitioners in order to minimize the probability of human error in the process, thereby reducing the associated losses.

The process of Operating Assets Management involves the participation of the main responsible for Operational Risk and Reliability of the plant. It refers to multi functional teams that involve managers and professionals of Production and Maintenance areas.
In order to technologically empower these teams, SQL BRAZIL has developed training courses for those professionals, with the objective of transferring the necessary technology, enabling companies to develop internally their own programs of reliability and risk management.

  1. Course: Introduction to RCM;
  2. Course: Formation of RCM facilitator;
  3. Asset Management: RCM as the basis for ISO 55000;
  4. Introduction to Human Reliability;
  5. Introduction to Reliability, FMEA and FTA.

SQL Brazil has on its board of advisors, experienced and trained professionals for assistance in the search for "in-company" solutions in enterprises.
The consulting and advisory services in project development is intended to enhance the professional capabilities and ensure the necessary quality to the work performed and the expected results.
Our experience in this area has been continuously accumulated and perfected over the last fifteen years, collaborating with various industries in training and conducting research projects of this nature in Brazil and overseas. Our consulting team was coached by John Moubray, personally, in England and in successive certifications over the period 1997-2004 in order to complete their technical and didactic formation.

Conceived from the SAE-JA1011/12, to be used from our servers (utilization regime known as ASP-Application Service Provider), allows interested companies to hire the use of the system and, from then, the use from any computer with internet access, without worrying about the IT infrastructure required to operate any system. The RCM2NET software has the exclusive remote auditing service of the SQL Brazil consultants, reducing the cost of implementation of the RCM process, increasing their efficiency and quality.

The proper structuring of information during the survey, assessment and treatment of risks, ease of performing calculations and comparisons with predetermined standards, make the Risk Manager software, the essential tool for continuous and effective risk management in the company.
Information security, flexibility of use of dictionaries and configurable risk matrix, allied to the possibility of issuing customizable operational and management reports, complements the effectiveness of the Risk Manager.
